Fade Facial Scars
Omgggg - Im in love with Clinique's Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector.
If you go to get one make sure you
are getting the one that says 'Clinical' because
there is another one that has a similar name.
My mother & grandmother both use it and
they have like multiple backups in their
closets. I always wondered what the big
deal was.
Thing is - in my country this product flies
off the shelves even before it can be placed
on the shelves of the store that carries it.
Because its so popular - the manufacturers in
the U.S wont even allow the store
here in Bermuda to import over a certain
amount each time. So, there is a waiting list...
as in you call in or write your name down on this freaking paper specifically for this product.
I was like 'Are you kidding me ?! '
I thought it was for older womens 'liver spots'
But, the other day I had run out of my
Vichy night cream. I had a bunch of new
spots on my face from a reaction to
a gingery drink I know I shouldn't have.
But, it was around Christmas and I gave in.
As a result I was left with more darned
scars from the breakout. So, I needed a
night cream - I went in my moms room &
grabbed one of her various Clinique lotions.
I didnt really care which one I just wanted to
put something on my face for the night.
I randomly grabbed the brown spot corrector
and O-M-G. The next morning I noticed a
difference ! I was like ' What the hell ! '
I had to do a double take in the mirror.
My scars have never faded that quickly
after only one night ! I kept trying it
after that day on some old scars and
they are gradually getting better as well.
I totally love this product now !
I just saw that it was one of
Marie Claire's 25 Beauty Picks for 2010.
Its around $50 - $60 bucks.
Kind of pricey but it works !
Guess I gotta go and put my
freaking name on the list too...

Top 10 Beauty Loves of 2010
These are in no particular order
1. Revlon Photo Ready Foundation
this goes on. Its a slightly loose
formula which glides over blemishes
and gives the skin a more dewy look.
I mix it with my MUFE foundation.
2. MUFE HD Foundation
photo ready. I do a 2:1 proportion.
I use more of the Photo Ready.
This stuff stays on so well & its more
concentrated. Wearing it by itself
makes my face look a bit too...
over done ? Its sort of thick and a
little goes a long way.
The tones of this foundation also
dont match my skin well so I have to use
both. But, I love how it makes my
photo ready more longer wearing.
I really love them both for different
reasons...so combined they make
a great foundation !
3.Vichy Anti Blemish Intensive
Treatment Cream
& clearing them up if you happen to get
a pimple. Its thick and concentrated
yet feels light on the skin.
Its great for an all over moisturizer
as well. Sometimes acne treatments
only target spots and leaves the skin
stripped and dry. But, this one
has salicylic acid and is great at
moisturizing.
4. Herbal Essences Hello Hydration
Conditioner

My Fav Moisturizers !
When I can get my hands on some La Roche Posay I always stock up.
Its one of my fav brands ! But for now Im definitely
loving Vichy.
One thing I really love by LRP is this :
Effaclar M Daily Mattifying Moisturizer
&
Here is Vichys Top Seller :
Normaderm Anti Imperfection
Hydrating Care
I wanted this but it was all sold out when my mom
went to Chicago so she got me the Anti-Blemish one
which is probably even better for my skin type.

But as for La Roche Posay here is the website :

Current Loves
Lovinggg this MAC Eye Shadow out with the
Venomous Villains collection.
This one is "My Dark Magic"
Its so freaking gorgeous. It makes me want to
replicate this swirl of colors
on a canvas. I swear I could look at
it all day. On the eyes it comes out
in 2 tones of a shimmery purple/black color
but in the pan its even more amazingly
gorgeous.
Im thinking about going
back for the blue/green one.
As soon as I saw this color on the
OPI Nail Polish Rack I had to have it.
It just kept jumping back out at me as
I browsed other sections of the store.
Its such a fantastic golden broze color.
Its a bit sheer but build-able for sure.
Its called "Glitzerland" by the way.
I have found a new favorite lipstick !
Its Drugstore even !
Its the famous Maybelline "Pink Please"
A lot of people in the US say they cant
find it because its always
sold out everywhere...but people here arent
that fanatic about lipsticks
so there are tons. Im going to stock up !
Its a creamy, cute pink shade.
In the package it didn't look that special
but when I put it on I was in love.
Its a lightly nude sort of pink &
its slightly matte but also is not
drying at all. Its perfect to pair with
dramatic or smokey eyes.
I freaking love it !
I also got this online from Etude House.
Its one of their new Sweet Eye Cupcake Shadows.
Super cute packaging. Lovely Color.
I got the the Cloud Cookie one (#5)
Its shimmery but not in a tacky way.
I really like these sorts of colors on my skin
so I ordered one. Etude house always has
fabulous eyes shadows for a decent price.
You can find this product here :
http://myworld.ebay.com/031tansango/
Of course their price is more than in Korea because they
gotta make a profit...but if you want it thats where
you can get it : )
Here is what it looks the colors look like up close:
& Here is the package :
So yep, thats about it for today. Just thought Id share.
Have a good day ^ ^

My Everyday Makeup - What I use

Here are the makeup products I have
been using this summer

& LOVING
My Skin Profile :
-Acne Scars
-Large Pores
-Slightly Oily
-Uneven Texture
This foundation is so light weight with just enough
coverage to not look overly cakey. It doesnt
even feel like Im wearing anything.
Its medium coverage which is okay.
Some people say its not enough coverage.
But, for me your would need cement to
cover my flaws so...I cant really complain.

I love this foundation brush by The Body Shop.
People tend to forget about that store...
They have really nice stuff in there !
I set my foundation with the Color Stay
Pressed Powder. I used to use loose powder
But its just so freaking messy !
Loving this pressed powder.
When I come home from work, I have
a full face of makeup to remove instead
of just traces left behind.
It really stays on ! I usually toss it in my
purse for a go-to mirror and to touch up.
Which I rarely have to do.
I apply the powder with my Body Shop Kabuki.
Its sooo soft. I love it : ) Aching to deco
the handle of this brush.
These days Ive been lining & tight-lining my eyes
with Mac - Carbon. Im kind of obsessed with it.
I haven't used eyeliner for a while.
Its great.
I apply it with this small shader brush by Mac
Its #231.

Almost every morning I put on this same lipstick.
Revlon - Soft Nude. Such a nice color.
It always calls out to me over all my other lipsticks.
I don't usually like Drug Store Lipsticks.
But, I really love this Color Burst line !!
The color doesnt last that long on my lips
so I have to bring it with me in my bag.
Really loving Revlon this summer though.
They are on point !!!

I put this Etude House 'Top 10' golden lip gloss on top
which really goes great with the nude color.
It kinda reminds me of a Mac Dazzle Glass.
I choose from a variety of different eyeshadows
each day. Normally I just keep it super simple
for work. I hate waking up early !
My brain doesnt function well enough to use
blending brushes and different shades & colors
to create ' depth' at that hour in the morning !!!
I lovvve the Maybelline Eye Studio Quads.
I usually just put a dab of white glittery
eyeshadow from the 'Sapphire Siren' Quad
to brighten up my face.
Before using shadow though I use my Etude House Primer
& Thats it !
I dont contour, use bronzer, highlighter, blush or
fill in my brows. The only time I wear lashes
is when Im going somewhere special.
I use generic Korean brands.
Some people look great when doing
all that extra but it really does nothing for me.
I just look too...fake
Also , I use Michelle Phans method of
cleansing my brushes - Dish Washing Liquid,
Olive Oil & Water. It works really well !
